Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

What on earth did Olympus mean when he said he "felt strangely like a boy obsessed with dating"? What does that have to do with the color yellow?

Dearest Ento,

I'm going to explain your question to the readers first:

For those who missed it, Ento is asking this question because the quote at the top of the Board was "[The color test] said I was yellow. I felt strangely like a boy obsessed with dating. -Olympus" Now you know.

Back to you, Ento. I suspected this quote was referring to Yellow, the great writer/webmaster of yore. To find the truth, rather than asking Olympus what she meant (did you know Olympus was a woman? I didn't until I answered this question. Or at least I had forgotten that tidbit), I decided to ask Yellow if this was a reference to himself. I just happened to be planning on going to Dog Days at Thanksgiving Point Gardens with my dog, Tally M., Yellow, Dragon Lady and their children so I would be able to present my query in person. It was great fun. My dog loved seeing other dogs and was very excited to just be outside somewhere new and dog food vendors were handing out free samples while the kids were fighting over who got to hold my dog's leash and there was a cluster spawn of Bulbasaur in the park for Pokemon Go. It was all very exciting. It was so exciting, in fact, that I almost forgot to ask Yellow about this question until we were about to leave.

When I finally asked Yellow if this quote was referring to him, he slyly smiled and said, "Yes, that's referring to me."

"He dated pretty much EVERY writer on the Board," Dragon Lady added as she put a warm hat on Yellow 2.0.

Satisfied with their responses, I watched this great family laugh and talk about days past with the Board as Yellow guided Niffler Baby along the trail by the hand since she decided to wear her hat on her face instead of on top of her head.

I think we can all learn a lesson or two by observing this Board couple. Yellow may have dated every writer in the past, but he seems pretty satisfied with his decision to make his family with Dragon Lady. There are silly or awkward things in all of our pasts, but when you accept your past but live in "the now" you will find much more happiness and even be able to laugh and smile with admiration at your past self, thanking him or her for helping you to become who you are today.

To Yellow and Dragon Lady: Thanks for the free tickets to the gardens and for the life lessons.

Sappily,

-Spectre

Dear Readers,

Lest you think I assume everyone on the internet is a man, I just want to say that I did try to discover Olympus' gender from her bio, but I obviously didn't try hard enough.
