Dear 100 Hour Board,
Supposing I want to build up my pecs so that they are large and muscle-y but I'm not currently exercising, how do I start? I know that in order to build muscle and not just tone you need to use heavier weights with lower reps, but how do you work up to that? And what are the best exercises for building your pecs?
There's a plethora of exercise advice online, so for now I'll just be brief and say start where you're at, and increase what you can do gradually. Can you do a push up? Do a few each day, and increase their number and difficulty over time. Can't do a push up? Modify the exercise by doing a pushup on your knees.
