Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Is there any way I can find the MTC Devotionals online some of them were really good and I'd like to read them again.

-Gotta love MTC Sundays

A:

Dear SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY,

MTC Devotionals are only made available to people within the MTC, such as teachers, leaders, and missionaries. It's sad for the rest of us, since those really are some astounding talks (I know Elder Holland has a couple of good ones in there, but I'm specifically thinking of Elder Bednar's "The Character of Christ"), but it does also help to make the MTC experience more special.

All is not lost, though. The specific MTC devotionals aren't available to us, but prophets and apostles often teach through repetition, so for some devotionals we can find similar addresses that are publicly accessible. For instance, Elder Bednar gave another address called "The Character of Christ" at a BYU-Idaho devotional that is very similar to the one he gave in the MTC. Finding others might be a bit more tricky, but if you've still got your notes from the MTC, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find at least some similar remarks from other general authorities.
