Whenever he thought about it, he felt terrible. And so, at last, he came to a fateful decision. He decided not to think about it. ~John-Roger and Peter McWilliams

Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Which bathroom on campus gets used most often?

A:

Dear Johnny,

I consulted an expert over at BYU Bathrooms for your question, who told me:

This is one of the most sought-after and most-coveted answers in all of BYU Bathroomdom.  The general rule is this: Is it on the main floor? Is the most visible one? If the answer is yes for both of these, than that is the most used bathroom in a given building.  So what building gets the most traffic? It has got to be with Wilk.   If you think about it, there are things going on there open till close every day.  And not just students, all kinds of people are there all the time for all kinds of reasons. So my guess is 2nd floor WILK, next to the terrace.

Other bathrooms that are in the runnings are: 2nd floor SWKT; 1st floor JFSB; 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors HBLL; and locker rooms in RB.

The only man who just might know for sure would be he who is the Cecil of the janitorial staff, he who holds the Campus Master Key, he who is the Master Chief of all bathrooms on campus, Ole M. Smith--the University of Admin Officer over Physical Facilities.

So there you have it. Ole M. Smith is not in the office today, but during regular business hours next week, I will follow up on this lead and leave a comment with any conclusive findings!
