Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

As all faithful latter-day saints believe, the Earth is only 6,000 years old(earth human years, not Kolob years). How come my geology professors keep saying it is 4.6 billion years old? Should I report them to BYU? I don't want to get them fired because they have families, but should they really be teaching these lies?

A:

Dear ConcernedCougar,

I consider myself to be a faithful LDS member and I certainly do not believe the earth is only 6,000 years old. You might be getting confused since it is estimated that Adam lived 6,000 years ago, but the earth was definitely around well before then. Who fed you such lies anyway? I sincerely hope it wasn't your Gospel Doctrine teacher.

A:

Dear Concerned,

Let's be exact here: the earth is 6,003 years, 8 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, 11 hours, 54 minutes, and 12 seconds old (rounding to the nearest second).  I don't appreciate such gross estimation when it comes to incredibly unsupported theories.

Dear all,

Yeah, Hypatia was there. She's the official timekeeper for the Earth, if you weren't aware.

CK,

I was also there when Satan buried the dinosaur bones.  Good times!

Dear Concerned,

As a troll, you should remember to stay under your bridge.

A:

H,

Oh come on, you know that Satan wasn't responsible! Here's how it really happened:
