Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
If one had shin splints, frequently found in avid runners, what could one do about it?
- The big fry

A: Dear splinted one,

One's treatment for one's shin splits includes resting oneself, massage oneself, icing oneself, stretching oneself, and strengthening oneself. Though one should understand that resting oneself and icing oneself are sometimes the best of all one's treatments for oneself. One should also be stretching one's calves and one's Achilles tendons real well. If one has the problem during one's running or one's walking, one should try warming up more and one shouldn't increase one's speed too quickly. One can also try varying one's speed and one's elevation of one's treadmill if one uses one instead of keeping it the same one one.
