Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
I wanted to take a snowboarding class next semester but i was wondering what the fees are and how good you have to be to be in the intermediate class. Like do you have to pay for lift fee's, etc.? What level hills do you go on in the class? How intense are the intermediate slopes!? I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!! Thank YOU.

A: Dear Confused,

The Physical Education desk (422-5717) told me the following: (OK, it wasn't the desk itself, but the nice lady who worked AT the desk. Picky, picky...)

There is a $35 transporation fee to take you up and back from Sundance all semester. You must provide your own equipment, whether skiing or boarding. Lift tickets are $18 each. As for the class itself... it is as challenging as you want to make it. You can sign up for the beginning skiing class and do the intermediate/advanced runs.

Enjoy.
