Dear 100 Hour Board,
One of my classes at my high school has 'wheelie' chairs that can be adjusted in height. I've noticed that the guys typically sit lower in the chairs, while the girls sit higher. Is there a reason for this?

I'm not sure why the guys would lower them. I am a guy, and I usually find myself raising the adjustable seats all the time in the Open Access Labs. I guess guys are just less ergonomic. To cause the least strain on your body, the top of the screen should be level with your eyes. Your arms should be able to rest lightly on the keyboard with your hands even with your arm - no bend in the wrist. As for me, I've been using computers forever
(okay, just for the past 18 years) and I figure I'll be using them for a while longer, so I try to prevent a whole lot of wear and tear on myself.
