Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Was there always a "Final Jeopardy" round? Who composed and what is the name of the song that plays when they answer the "Final Jeopardy" question?

A: Merv Griffin created JEOPARDY! (You've got to have the capital letters and the exclamation mark. JEOPARDY! =JEOPARDY*JEOPARD*JEOPAR... so otherwise it wouldn't work) in 1964 in the dining room of his apartment. The structure of JEOPARDY! has not changed.
Griffin also composed the show's "think" theme music which is the song?s official name. But don?t take my word for it! (http://www.jeopardy.com/faqs_popup.pjw?id=11&img=../jeop_faqs/think_music.jpg) Try this link out. Have a nice day!
