Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

In Alma 19:16 it talks of a woman named Abish and how she was converted unto the Lord [. . .] on account of a remarkable vision of her father's. Do we know what this vision is, or is it just one of those things we don't know?

The Girl who Wonders

A: Dear The Girl who Wonders-

The contents of the vision are not explained. Actually, the verse could be read to mean either that her father had the remarkable vision, *or* that she had a remarkable vision of her (presumably deceased) father.

It's just like the writing on the wall that was deciphered.
